Job Update
So, my interview was Thursday (7/11/13) and you know what?! They called me the next day, Friday (7/12/13) and asked me to come in next Wednesday & Thursday at 10:30am! It'll be for tryouts/feeling my way through and getting acquainted with the way things work and with the other employees! It's paid, too! I'll get my, err...base salary (is that what it's called?) of $11.50/per hour (how much a medical assistant is worth in my area) after three months of employment! I'm so very, very excited and I'm so excited that I almost don't care how annoying I sound when I keep saying that I'm so very, very excited!
Mom called today and said she bought me two, brand new scrubs! I can't wait to see them and I'm still jumping up and down at the thought!* I feel so special! I am WOMAN!!!!!
*Seriously. Brand new scrubs mean that much. As a student, you have to wear the most uncomfortable uniforms in the world. White, see-through pants that are loose everywhere but your ass and hips. Stomach-and-breast-smooching scrub top (royal blue or teal) that you might be able to get to tie in the back. White socks. White shoes. No wrinkles. No stains. No exceptions. To hell with it all.
