I've seen posts on my Tumblr dash and elsewhere asserting that this is not the end, we can and should hang in there, we'll keep fighting, we'll protect each other, we'll stay strong.

But, it's just...y'know...I kinda, really, truly hoped that we wouldn't have to fight. That maybe just a little, teeny bit of that would be over.

Kinda hoped for some good news tonight. Some very, very, very good news.

I'd love to give 'em hell, but...I dunno, I kinda just feel like they gave me and a whole lotta my fellow marginalized people hell on a silver platter.

And I also dunno about the magnitude of this sinking in. Like...so, so many people either outright voted for Trump or they voted third party and while the mainstream media is shit, there were several other news outlets that made sure people knew what was at stake in throwing away their vote like that.
