I'm still alright-just letting ya'll know where I'll be in case you worried. I miss my 3 black girl witches with their werewolf surgeon father in Moonlight Falls. ^ ^
I bet your sims are the prettiest ever! Are they happy with their wolfdad? Are they fulfilling their simlish dreams?
A while ago I needed a little break from my neighbourhood where I care so intensely about all my sims that I need their lives to be utterly perfectly happy ever after, with no arguments and no mishaps worse than burnt pancakes. I made a new hood where it's all drama all the time, everybody's sleeping with everybody else, and several sims are expecting babies that weren't exactly planned. I think I needed a little soap opera in my life!
Oh yes, they are very pretty, thank you!! And they are very happy with their wolfdad. He's a doctor and has somehow managed to juggle climbing those ranks with raising his daughters. When he's not working or hunting as a werewolf, he loves staying home just cooking, cleaning, etc.
Their dad otherwise makes sure to spend individual times with each of his girls and otherwise takes all of them as a family out on the town to have fun together. ^ ^
The girls have absolutely fulfilled their simlish dreams! The eldest girl has become a professional star athlete, but now she's turned to being a sports agent and it's an amazing challenge for her; the middle girl is a scientist, that works in the same building as their daddy; and the youngest girl is a famous Hollywood director that spends plenty of time at the bars, lounges, etc. getting discounts and whatnot!
...And do you know, I am just the same way with my Sims, too? I give them all happy, secure lives with only burnt food and smelly laundry as problems!
And I, too, have to consciously make Mega Problems for Sims that I create just to have that soap opera in my life, too!! Those are usually my white sims that I do that, too-I ain't sorry and it's hilarious!!
What a good, caring dad! Supporting all his daughters in their individuality, giving them everything they need, and without neglecting his own dreams as well. I love that the sisters are all so different and all stars at their own particular thing. (You can tell me their names and their hairstyles if you like, haha!)
My happy stable neighbourhood has recently had its first ever divorce. I figured Sev had been too focused on his career and had taken his wife Noelle for granted for too long; she'd married him too young before finding out what she wanted in life besides children. So, with the help of some good friends, Noelle moved out to make her way without him. Their teenage son still lives with his father, the younger daughter went with her mother; a friend who had a spare bedroom and not enough money took them in. Now Noelle is making a little money from her sewing skills, enjoying taking care of her own tiny garden, and has changed her hairstyle and had some nights out on the town with her friend! Even the most dramatic situations in this town lead to happy endings.
I love that you let all the misery and trouble fall on your white sims. Good scheme!
Oh yes, he's a wonderful father and a single one at that! (I have it that their mama died not long after the youngest daughter was born.) I'm so glad that you love how they're all so different from each other, thank you!!!
Uhh...their names and hairstyles? Well, I almost always name my Sims unique names that make my mom scrunch her nose, but...here goes!
The 1st daughter is Alelle (Ahh-LEHL), and in the absence of the availability of puff balls, she's always sported pigtails on the sides of her head. When she's in formal dress, she has braids! Her color theme that I dress her in is blue!
The 2nd daughter is Genesis (remember she's a science nerd and so I thought that was very...science-y!), and she's usually in some kind of pixie cut or short, curved bob. The only exception was when the girls were in college and she done wore a green beanie cap everywhere. Her color theme that I dress her in is green!
The 3rd and youngest daughter is Evelyna (Ehv-EHL-LYN-ah), and she's a sucker for braids and Beyonce-like weaves! She's changed her hairstyle the most out of all the sisters. Her color theme that I dress her in is pink!
And a first ever divorce in your neighborhood?! Wow!! Your stories are so innovative & deep-it's good to know that I'm not the only one who creates stories for my Sims.
Noelle sounds like she had her own growing up & healing to do. It's so good that she got out of a marriage that wasn't good for her and, still, she can bunk in with a friend w/her daughter and make some of her own money. That's great!! Do Noelle and Sev have any ideas to start dating again? And how are their kids doing? :D
And yeah I...usually have such happy, safe lives for my Sims that I don't really get the full playing experience that can include misery, mishaps, etc. So if I wanna know what that's like, I'll just make a big ass white Sims family and go to town.
I done had my white Sims leave nasty food in their cheap stoves and burn down half they house; spend money they don't have at the spa when their bills are due in 2 days; cheat on each other MULTIPLE times; neglect their kids big time; have their kids fail school and get detention; and a whole lotta other terrible, funny things, haha!
Those are lovely names! And of course sims need to have unique names... they need to stand out, and the names only have to please one person. Evelyna sounds like an absolute style icon with her glamour lifestyle and frequent hairdo changes. I love that Genesis wore that beanie through college - too busy studying to fuss over her appearance and style her hair?
Sev has had his eye on a woman a bit older than him since a while after he and Noelle separated. He kept things pretty quiet at first, but I think he'll be more open about his dating life now that the divorce is official. It remains to be seen if his new date plans to move in and rescue him from a life of having to make his own sandwiches!
Noelle is the shyest sim I've ever seen! She's so timid when talking to people and so shy about accepting compliments. But when her friend Tamzyn insisted on a night out and they went to a dance club, Noelle crossed the floor to flirt with a red-haired man in a tight shirt. I couldn't believe my eyes. My sims don't do all that much autonomous flirting, and Noelle is the last person I'd have expected to walk up and hit on someone. I think Tamzyn, who has four or five boyfriends on the go at once and children with two different fathers, has influenced her to be more confident - and maybe to see flirting with attractive strangers as a fun possibility. I do hope Noelle steers well clear of cohabiting with the next man to look at her, though - she needs time to find herself before plunging into another commitment.
It's really fun playing Tamzyn's household now that she has Noelle living with her. Noelle's teenage son, who still lives with his father, has always been best friends with Tamzyn's teenage son, and the two get up to mischief together, staying out late; they're going to miss each other when Sev pays for university for his boy and the two stop seeing each other every day. Meanwhile Tamzyn's young daughter is loving having Noelle's daughter to follow all around.
I'm so shocked by the stuff your white sims get up to! Burning down the house and having their furniture repossessed, that happens... cheating on each other, yes... neglecting the kids, though, that I've never done! I've had parents sacrifice a lot to make sure their children get a bed to sleep in and an education and help with studying. Maybe that's a sort of drama I can introduce to the new town I made, along with letting them get sick and infect each other instead of curing them right away like I always do.
OMG, I'm so very glad you like them!!! And yes, Evelyna of all the sisters can spend lots of time doing and re-doing her hair, makeup, and outfit, haha!!
Genesis, she did indeed wear the beanie because she didn't want to bother too much with her hair! Plus, she was in Nerd Heaven during her college years, and so she just fit right in with the other comic book and gaming lovers.
Oh my god, may Sev be rescued from a life of making his-and his son's!-own sandwiches, haha!!
Your sims don't autonomously flirt that much?!?! Y'know, you are so freakin' lucky-even way, way back as early as my playing Sims2, a lot of my Sims, if I didn't watch them closely enough, would often flirt with another random sim that I ain't never even thought they were looking at like that! I mean, there would be times I'd look away real quick and bam! My sim is flirting with another & so possibly straight up cheating where their partner can see it...and then sometimes I'd make the choice to unsave that part of the game and start over from where I saved it previously, haha.
I agree with you that Noelle should continue to take time for herself & her daughter before jumping headlong into a new relationship and household. It's not wrong for her to be shy and, y'know, a new divorce with partial custody is a big, big thing to process and get used to. You'll see if that flirting with that red-haired man in the tight shirt is gonna take her new places! :P
Your Tamzyn, tho...wow. Talk about a juggle! I'm sure she takes great care of her children and still has at least a co-parenting relationship with their fathers...and then she juggles all of those boyfriends? And then she's taken in a newly-divorced mother and her daughter, even with her own children to care for?! What a superwoman sim with a big heart and a strong will!!
May I ask...just how much sleep does Tamzyn get? 'Cause that's...my goodness, that is so much to juggle!!
And Sev better pay up for his son's continued education!! Can't wait for his son and his best friend to spend more time together afterwards, tho!!
Ooohhh, yes, with my white sims? I do it all. All the bad things that I can see and do...I go ahead and do them. I do not even spare the children-I admit this. And yes-letting them get sick and infect each other is always a riot...along with lots of detention for failing grades and copying homework...muwahaha!
