Behold Wittle Dante!

I took this one about two nights ago, friends! He's looking up at me from his wittle cat house, just chillin'. We are so, so very glad that he's safe and sound back home and we thank all of you again so much for all the help, support and suggestions! Thankies oh-so much!

Dante thanks you, too! :D :D :D

Glad to hear it! It can be hard to figure out what expansion packs came with what changes, once you have a few, but some of them make a big difference to the fun of the game and some are just clutter. I know I don't want the Pets expansion to slow everything down in my game - I love animals, but I don't want stray dogs wandering around everywhere!

I did a bit of looking and found out that deleting your cache periodically is a way to speed up the game in Sims 3 as well as Sims 2. The game takes a little longer to load right after you've deleted the file, but then runs faster until the cache gets too big again. I can't tell you where to find it in your system, though...
