Made my 1st Affogato Tonight!!

My ingredients:

-Hot brewed coffee (as pictured, caramel macchiato from the Eight O’clock brand)
-Vanilla ice cream, from part of my Neapolitan ice cream (so there’s some strawberry and chocolate flavor mixed in there)
-Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Ya’ll. This. Is. Amazing.

I can’t believe I took so long to try this!! The temperature contrast of the ice cream vs the coffee is awesome and pleasing. But it’s the bitterness of the coffee (from what I understand, you just pour it over straight black from the pot, no added cream or sugar) with the ice cream’s sweetness…that is the sweet spot. The chocolate chips add to its delicious contrast for sure!!

Like, at first bite, I literally did that thing where my eyes cross and I dance in place and I hum a random song because it. Is. So. Good.

I give it a 10/10!
