So I got my patient assignments (yes, that's plural-we have 2 this semester) earlier tonight and...gracious me!

I'm taking care of a MRSA patient for the first time ever tomorrow. Ohh, lord, Imma be hot and sweaty as hell in the PPE (gown, gloves, possible mask, etc.).

And I'm already worried about my patient, too. Poor thing has had this MRSA for a while and they're shooting her veins up with vancomycin...which has a side effect of being nephrotoxic (AKA Bullying The Kidneys).

Poor, poor lady tomorrow...:( :(

Oh, yes, I did! I made sure to wear that hot-ass PPE and wash my hands thoroughly. Thanks a bunch, Silver! :D :D
