I had two pretty good days at work! I made a lot of mistakes (and nearly got pissed off once), but hopefully they'll call me back soon and I'll be on permanently! Apparently, I walked into quite a bit of chaos...poor things are reeling because I literally replaced a girl that JUST quit the same week I got there. So the practice manager will keep in touch with me about when (or, hopefully not, if) I'll be coming back in. ^ ^

But this $150 check smells sooooooooo nice. That's car money, dearest ones! Car money! :D

Also, if someone would like to ridicule and/or gape open-mouthed at me...

...I just learned that Han Solo was not played by Kurt Russell, but was played by Harrison Ford. Also, Darth Vader never once changed Luke's diaper at all. And I still don't know what the empire was striking back against...the Republic? Fox News? I have no clue.

What's new with you guys, though? :D

Sounds like fun. And that so long as you didn't make mission-critical mistakes, you should probably get another asking.

...do we need to get you through the original trilogy our something?

I always consider it a sign of learning that I don't make the same mistake twice.

Here's your list for the library to get. First and foremost, you'll need to check out two Star Wars trilogies. The first set will be the remastered original trilogy. Unfortunately, this means you'll be subjected to Lucas tinkering with the original story, but we'll fix that at the end.

You'll need Episode IV: A New Hope ("Star Wars"), Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back ("Empire") and Episode VI: Return of the Jedi ("Jedi").

The other trilogy will be the prequel trilogy, which is earlier in the continuity, but later in terms of production. You'll get Episode I: The Phantom Menace ("Phantom"), Episode II: Attack of the Clones ("Clones"), and Episode III: Revenge of the Sith ("Sith").

Now, once you have them, set aside a weekend to watch, and watch them in this order: (Machete Order) IV, V, II, III, VI. That's Star Wars, Empire, Clones, Sith, Jedi. Afterward, you can watch The Phantom Menace at your leisure, or if there are still some questions. The acting quality goes down significantly for II and III, but thankfully you get VI at the end.

After you've done that, you'll have the foundation you need to understand Star Wars. Happy watching!

Not on camera, no, he didn't. And tee are plenty of other things to learn, too.

Of course, Vader never even *saw* Luke until Luke was 20 years old. He probably didn't meet Leia until she was in her teens at least (and then would have believed she was Bail Organa's daughter).
