Okay, everyone that's responded to my #BlackOutDay selfie? Ya'll gon' make me cry. Fuck that, ya'll have already made me cry.

Do you understand that? You've made me cry

I haven't been having an easy time of anything in a long, long while and to wake up (with yet another Monster Migraine, yay my headfucks!) and see so many positive, loving responses from my blogging friends...

...You're all evil. Make me cry happy & touched tears like that.

But yeah, I'm really, really crying here after working hard for two weeks+ to not cry at all and it's all your fault.

So as a result, there will be no Avatar: The Last Airbender deconstructions until next year. /early April Fools

Don't tease us like that. Your A:tLA decons are like your online bacon. We'll have withdrawl symptoms!

You could post more selfies instead? And then we could tell you how beautiful you are. I'm rather in awe.

Also, nuuu the deconstructions! I'll counter-hex you with deviled eggs, see if I don't! EVIL deviled eggs! D-EVIL-ed eggs!

(Also also, I have spent like an hour rolling around in beautiful #Blackout selfies on Tumblr. This is the best thing.)

Oooh, evilly-good food thread.

I can make a fine ruben. Jewish rye bread, good corned beef, mild sourkrout, mild swiss, Russian dressing, and toast it on a pan.

Some people use thousand island, but Russian's been my ruben since my mother made them for me as a child.

Never. Hold. The. Garlic.

Garlic has two modes, "more garlic" and "out of garlic".

Few exceptions, perhaps. But, I'm willing to try garlic icecream.

Shrimp scampi! I'm not sure I can stand up to that level of deliciousness.

(And garlic is goooooood. The more the better. I may have an unholy love of all things allium.)

Hmm.. how to counter the scampi.. I better break out the big guns. I'm thinking "fruits of the forest" pie... that being plums, apricots, raisins, and peaches, in my very best butter crust. Oh yes. >;)

There will be none of that withholding, or you will suffer the wrath of my... mac and cheese. Or possibly tuna salad. Maybe braised chicken? Anything more complex than that and I need a recipe book.

I have not very sensitive taste buds, because I usually need to season heavily to taste.

But I did learn that salt and pepper are just standard things, unless you're doing something that specifically needs something else.

New food I just figured out to cook and threaten with.

Chicken&pineapple fried rice.

I cooked rice in chicken broth instead of water, with a tablespoon of vegetable oil, and a teaspoon of garlic powder (would have used garlic salt but didn't have it).

Then, I took a pan, poured in some olive oil, through on a forkfull of crushed garlic, then threw in pineapple chunks. I gave the pineapple a little time to cook (so I could come as close as I could to getting those fruitsugars to caramelize), then added chicken (one of the things I love about fried rice in general is the power of leftovers, so I used precooked chicken)

Next, I added some cabbage and carrots (from a coleslaw mix bag for ease). Gave that a moment to cook and soften up.

Then I cracked some eggs and stirfried those into the mix. After giving them a little time to cook, I finished off with stirfrying the rice in a bit at a time.

I am actually proud of that. I have a grain, a vegetable, a fruit, and two forms of protein all in one meal that is... okay not so visually appealing, but quite tasty, especially since I really like pineapple.

If we ever get together for an evil pot luck, I think that might be what I do.

It's just cut cabbage (the inner leaves, so the sweeter ones and very good for texture) and cut carrots. I can cut the carrots myself, but probably not the cabbage.

Awww! I sort of think someone as beautiful as you doesn't need anyone on the other side of the world telling her she's beautiful because damn, she sees herself in the mirror every day, she should know already.

But we do all think you're really beautiful!
