I am so, so late! But, yes, today is #Blackout Day again! The first one, (on March 20th of this year), as you'll recall, was an absolute hit! All of our dashes were just flooded with gorgeous melanin and there was so much positivity and sharing and emotions what all that gorgeous jazz! Well this time, it's April 3rd, so time to flood the dashes again!

Unfortunately, I have no new selfies to post, but you can find the selfies that I did post in the first #Blackout in my "memo" tag if you like.

If I have any followers that are participating, please do not hesitate to post your selfie in the comments! Happy posting, happy melanin, and happy black people all over! Yay! :D :D :D

I got a haircut. Also, I own books. Bonus [something] for whomever identifies them!

That statue knew what it was getting into when it played the game. If it didn't want its face taken, it shouldn't have gone and shown emotion. You'd think a statue would be better at that than --ing Aang, but no. :P

In any case, thank you. And correct on "Last Call", a really awesome book about how Prohibition came about and then went away.

Dude, you're bogarting all the handsome. The rest of us need some, too.

If you're not careful, you'll find yourself captured and forced into romantic comedies as the main female character's love interest.

By the way, I see Making Money, Thud, and Snuff. Discworld novels mean you are now my friend.

I didn't read them. I recognized covers that I have in my own collection. By color and style, they're distinctive enough that I could recognize even fuzzy pictures. Based on that, I'm less certain that he has a Percy Jackson book, as well.

Reading Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels is not cheating, it is loving fine literature.

It's a fantasy world and Terry Pratchett used it to make statements about fantasy tropes and about modern day life and about history... all with a great sense of humor.

Small Gods isn't at the start of the set, but it's a standalone novel and it was my gateway drug. So, yes, sate your curiousity, read, become another fan so that I have more people to talk about the books with!

The turtle doesn't always figure prominently. But, Terry Pratchett's eye and humor does.

You're wrong, wingedbeast. You're so wrong. "Thud!" is actually Unseen Academicals. The real Thud! is behind my head and not visible. :P

Or does this mean that you have the power to see the invisible? What else isn't actually in this picture that you can see?

But yeah, Discworld. Good times.

Also, thank you for the kind words. :)!

Thud and Unseen Academicals have a similar color scheme to their covers. So, I choose to think of that as getting it half-right.
