Happy Blackout Day!

Ahh, finally at the end of the semester and I worked my hardest yet! Time for a much-needed break, hanging out with Mommy, putting up the Christmas tree for Dante...
And write, write, write, write!!!
May everyone have a safe, warm, and happy holiday this season! :D

Also be sure that you sharpen your eyeliner pencil to where it's just pointed enough to be comfortable on human flesh so you can make as precise a line as possible and putting as little pressure on the pencil, too.
Oh, and, uhh...lots a practice and messing up, LOLOL!
That's all it is, yep, yep! :D

Date: 2016-12-11 05:10 am (UTC)I have to ask, when you put up the tree "for Dante", is he going to admire it? Or will he pull shiny things off it and try to climb it?
I like your glasses! Do you have more than one pair? Because I can't find in in your tag, but I thought I saw you with pink ones another time.

Date: 2016-12-11 09:38 pm (UTC)And yep! Dante is most-certainly going to admire it! We put up our Christmas tree right next to our couch. And so when we put up the tree, we can always count on Dante spending most of his time on the arm of the couch, right next to the tree, LOL! He doesn't climb it, but he does steal candy canes.
He is a candy cane stealer. All the time. I've shared it before that one time we were missing so, so many candy canes from the bottom of the tree (where Dante can reach). Well, one day, we had to move the couch to clean...and lo and behold, underneath it were the missing candy canes. That white boy has no shame whatsoever.
Uhhh...these are indeed my only pair, haha! Not enough money just yet to go to the optometrist and get a second pair (or re-check my eyes after all these years). And oh, look through my "selfies/black out day" tag! I think you mean this picture maybe: http://amarie24.dreamwidth.org/70037.html

Date: 2016-12-11 10:11 pm (UTC)I remember about the candy canes! Dante will be pleased to see them back just for him.
That must have been the picture I was thinking of, I can see how I could have misremembered they were pink glasses. I know what you mean about optometrists being too expensive. I do have new glasses as of a couple of years ago; the new ones come with me in my bag, and the old ones sit by the computer so they're always handy. I got the old ones when I was 15 and the lenses are so scratched by now that I don't want to drive in them; it's lucky my eyes haven't changed much so they're still useful at home.

Date: 2016-12-14 05:16 am (UTC)...Please do not encourage Dante's candy cane stealing. My mother does that more than enough and I have no one in my corner on that matter. >.<
And well...we do live near a lotta Walmarts that offer eye exams & pairs of glasses for around $70. It's just, y'know...money comes when it comes and time comes when it comes. I'm so glad that you have spare pairs, though! Yay! :D
