...Which one a'ya'll wanna go to nursing school on Monday for me? I be so nervous that my afro being sprinin' out of place with the nervous energy.

Ya'll be alright. Just, like...cram the anatomy & physiology and microbiology books over the weekend. Don't be afraid of learning different needle lengths and, yes, most of the mannequins you gon' work on will be indistinguishable white men (kinda like the White House, y'know?).

Yes, you do indeedy! In fact, there are different-sized needles* that you can use on those motherfuckers! You can go hog wild, my friend. Just go hog wild. ;)

*Needles are different sizes for use depending on what you're doing at the time. For example, you would use a longer needle when drawing blood from someone with deep, deep veins (like me) so you get the best shot at breaching the vein.

A shorter needle would prolly be used for a subcutaneous injection (AKA shooting someone in some adipose (fat) tissue, like that lil bit of flab everyone has on the back of their arm) because the medicine that's injected in that way can get to where it needs to go faster through that fatty tissue than, say, through muscles.

But, actually, umm...that comes with caveats, too. Like...I'm still not taking it out for a few more hours, but I...don't know if Imma like it/if it'll look the way I want it to. If it doesn't, then I'm just gonna come it out and have my afro back. : /
